The 30-year-old former star of Love Island and The Only Way is Essex has spoken openly about her ex-partner, Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen Bear, who was convicted for sharing a private sex tape of them without her consent—a case of revenge porn.

Georgia Harrison waived her right to anonymity and has detailed the trauma caused by the incident, particularly in the ITV documentary Revenge Porn: Georgia vs Bear.

Stephen Bear Sentenced to 21 Months of prison

In 2023, Stephen Bear, 35, was sentenced to 21 months in prison after being convicted of voyeurism and two counts of sharing private sexual photos and videos with the intent to cause distress.

Before his sentencing, Stephen Bear drew attention by posing for selfies outside the court and serenading a reporter in a red coat with Lady in Red. He also attended court hearings in extravagant outfits, arriving in a Rolls Royce and accompanied by his father.

During his sentencing, Stephen Bear was issued a restraining order prohibiting him from contacting Georgia Harrison for five years. He is also required to keep the police informed of his whereabouts for the next decade.

However, he only served half of that sentence and was released in January 2024. He then was ordered to pay the estimated £22,305 he earned from illegally sharing the film on OnlyFans.

"Revenge Porn: Georgia vs Bear" documentary

In her new two-part ITV documentary, Georgia Harrison: Porn, Power, Profit; which is set to be released on February 18th, she explores the revenge porn industry, image-based sexual abuse, and deep fakes.

"The hardest part for me was seeing how widespread my video still is," she revealed. "I have a lot of people messaging me all the time, sending me clips of it. It's always something in the back of my mind, but having to really face head on exactly where it is and how many places it's in was a real struggle for me".

Harrison explained that she took steps to locate and track down where the video was still being hosted. "What we really wanted to do was get to the bottom of who is behind the posting of image-based sexual abuse that's still out there".

She further shared, "The first part involves me having to really look into where my video still is, which is obviously really tough, but by doing that we could then decipher how many different sites it was on".
