How the Vans Warped Tour it all began

Kevin Lyman founded the Warped Tour in 1995, and over the years, it has showcased acts such as Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Katy Perry, Fall Out Boy, and many others. “Putting together a line-up is never an easy task, but each group, whether new or returning, plays a vital role in delivering an unforgettable experience for fans, especially at the price point we offer,” Lyman told Variety. “We’ve worked closely with the bands to create exciting surprises, exclusive content, and much more for fans to enjoy. So follow along, immerse yourself in the journey, and who knows—you might discover your next favorite band.”

Fans who attended previous editions of the Warped Tour will remember performances by Simple Plan, who are returning to the line-up after more than a decade. The group, consisting of Pierre Bouvier, Chuck Comeau, Jeff Stinco, and Sebastien Lefebvre, will perform at the Washington, D.C. dates, describing this as a moment of closure to return to the Warped Tour stage.

Meanwhile, Miss May I, Chandler Leighton, and Pennywise are set to perform at all three festival locations.
