The son of basketball legend Michael Jordan was taken into custody in Maitland, Florida, on Tuesday. He faces multiple charges, including DUI (Driving Under the Influence), cocaine possession, and resisting arrest. According to Orange County records, he was carrying cocaine in his trousers when apprehended by authorities.
After being booked into jail, Jordan was expected to be released after posting a $4,000 bond. This latest incident marks another controversy involving Michael Jordan’s second child, drawing significant media attention.

Who is Marcus Jordan?
Best known as the son of NBA icon Michael Jordan, Marcus first gained attention for his basketball career as a guard for the UCF Knights. More recently, he became a contestant on the second season of the reality TV show The Traitors on Peacock.
In addition to his sports and entertainment ventures, Marcus has been in the spotlight for his high-profile romance with Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen—his father’s former teammate. While Michael Jordan reportedly disapproved of the relationship, calling it “embarrassing,” Larsa defended their bond, stating it remained strong despite his opposition.
Marcus Jordan's heated police encounter
During his arrest, Marcus made a bold statement to officers: "Bro… I'm Michael Jordan's son! I haven't done anything wrong. I was just trying to get home and made a wrong turn." His Lamborghini, valued at $300,000, was found stuck on train tracks after a night of partying. Despite the situation, he insisted he was fit to drive.

The confrontation escalated when officers discovered cocaine in his possession. As he was being handcuffed, Marcus reportedly responded defiantly, saying, "You’ll only find a big c** and big b**s." Despite resisting, he was taken to the Orange County Jail, where witnesses claimed he sang the entire way before being released a few hours later.
