His wife, Sherkita Long-Platt, announced his passing on social media on Friday, requesting privacy for her and her family during this difficult time. "Please respect me and my family. I just lost my husband, and my kids just lost their father. Our life will never be the same. I LOVE YOU, ANTHONY, FOREVER," her heartfelt post read. Who was DJ Unk?
Born on November 28, 1982, in Atlanta, Georgia, Platt rose to fame in the mid-2000s with his breakout single "Walk It Out," which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
