Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce faces NFL punishment just days before the Super Bowl
The Kansas City Chiefs, the three times champion, will be competing against the Philadelphia Eagles for the tittle this sunday
For the teams in the NFL, winning the Super Bowl is a dream come true. The Kansas City Chiefs are the current back to back champions and, after the victory against the Buffalo Bills, this Sunday they will try to achieve a third championship in a row.
The Philadelphia Eagles, on the other hand, will be up against the Kansas City Chiefs after defeating the Washington Comandeers on January 26th.
Travis Kelce's punishment
Travis Kelce, the team’s superstar tight end, has been fined for breaking the NFL’s rules during the matchup against the Buffalo Bills for unsportsmanlike conduct (taunting) and was fined $11,255.
Although referees didn’t call a taunting penalty the day of the match, the NFL decided to take action after reviewing the footage

Two championships in a row and one to go
The Kansas City Chiefs won their first Super Bowl in 1970 against the Minnesota Vikings 23-7. However, only after 50 years they would be back in 2020 for their second championship after a victory against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Chiefs came back for another Super Bowl victory in 2023 against The Philadelphia Eagles, their once again rival for the Vince Lombardi trophy. This time, The Eagles have a chance to reclaim the title while the Chiefs will try to write history and do something no other NFL team has ever done: win three straight championships.
