Joe Biden’s next move? Two weeks after leaving White House, He lands a talent agency deal
Two weeks after leaving the White House, Joe Biden has signed with Hollywood’s top talent agency, CAA. What does this mean for his post-presidency career?
Just two weeks after ending his term as the 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden has re-signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the most powerful talent agencies in Hollywood. The move signals Biden’s intent to stay active in public discourse, potentially exploring media, speaking engagements, or book projects.
This partnership marks a reunion between Biden and CAA, which previously represented him between 2017 and 2020, during which time he released his memoir, "Promise Me, Dad", and launched the "American Promise" book tour. Now, as a former president, Biden’s role with CAA could extend into new ventures beyond politics.
What are Biden's plans Post-Presidency?
Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is a powerhouse in the entertainment industry, representing some of the biggest names across film, television, sports, and politics. Biden’s renewed collaboration with the agency suggests he is gearing up for a post-presidency career focused on public speaking, media projects, and writing.
While the specifics of Biden’s CAA deal remain undisclosed, CAA’s history of representing former political leaders offers some insight into potential future projects. The agency also represents Barack and Michelle Obama, who have successfully expanded into media production with their Higher Ground company, producing award-winning content, including the Oscar-winning documentary "American Factory".

CAA’s co-chairman, Richard Lovett, expressed enthusiasm about Biden’s return to the agency, stating:
"President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs. His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again."
This statement reinforces the idea that Biden is looking to stay involved in political and social discussions, even as he transitions out of formal government roles.
Trump's reactions to Biden's Hollywood move
President Donald Trump appeared shocked on Tuesday upon learning that his predecessor, Joe Biden, had signed with a major Hollywood talent agency just weeks after leaving the White House.
While speaking to reporters in the Oval Office after signing a series of executive orders, Trump was asked if he was aware of Biden securing representation with a talent agency.
You've got to be kidding," Trump responded, shaking his head. "He signed with a talent agency?"
Expressing skepticism, Trump remarked that Biden had more pressing concerns to deal with.
"I think he's got much bigger problems than that, but I wish him well," he added.
Trump then shifted the focus to his own administration, stating that he "inherited a mess" from Biden's tenure in the White House.
"This place is a mess," he said. "But it's quickly being solved. We're going to make America great again."
Meanwhile, Biden’s new partnership with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has been confirmed. The agency previously represented him between 2017 and 2020, handling book deals and public speaking engagements during that time.
